In “Want to Break and Remake WordPress?” on the Blog Herald and “Time to Break WordPress This Summer” on Lorelle on WordPress, I summarized this year’s WordPress/Google Summer of Code, an exciting annual project that brings together the top WordPress Community experts with college students from around the world dedicated to making and breaking WordPress so we all benefit.
In both of those posts, especially the latter, I highlight one of the exciting projects listed in the WordPress Summer of Code, the creation of an integration of BuddyPress, WordPressMU, and bbPress into an event organization platform. The project will begin with the development of a new centralized WordCamp site.
This opens up a lot of possibilities for WordCamp and WordPress Event organizers as well as WordPress fans. Your input is needed, so check out these posts and the WordPress Summer of Code with Google to find out how you can be a part of this and help WordPress fans around the world.
