The MacGuyver Game

As the 11am addition to the WordCamp game here is the game. Its the MacGuyver Game (not MacGruber).  Take what is available too you, and turn it into something usuable.

You are given a stack of toilet paper, starch, chewing gum, and a rock. What could you make out of this?

Now you’ve got 10 minutes to come up with an idea and then comments are closed.  A decision will be made on who the winner is and you’ll be contacted for your prize.

A voodoo doll of Matt Mullenweg? Rock would definitely be the head! :-P

  2. Matt Behrens says:

Use the chewing gum as intended, to generate saliva. Mix saliva with starch to form paste. Use paste to apply toilet paper to a wall. Make a square or rectangle shape. Apply rock to head, draw blood. Use blood to draw out SOS or to advertise your blog! Very useful indeed.

I’m thinking a bust (meaning a neck-up statue, not a set of boobs) of DK. First you chew up all the gum. While that’s happening, you mix the starch and the toilet paper to make papier-mache. (Oh, first you unroll all the TP.) Then using the rock as a base, you form the starchy TP into a perfectly ovoid shape; stick several TP rolls in the bottom for a neck, cover with TP; punch in eyes, shape a nose, draw in mouth… it’s either Mr Clean or David Klein!

Matt’s is better: I was assuming ready-mixed starch, not powder; and also I forgot about the gum. I meant to use it to stick the head onto the base, but that wasn’t clear. Oh well…

    Do we have a winner?

  6. Actually I’m going to give it too Betsy (sorry about the late cutoff… session was interesting)
