Stopped from a fast and furious overview on a number of blogs that he’s run across. Everything for EduBlogs (A WordPress mu installation of teachers) and students using blogs to help them write better papers.
All over the World teachers are encouraging their students to use blogs also.
Some blogs use so many widgets its almost as bad as myspace, some are extremely well designed and put togetehr that he rips apart for ideas.
Most of the “woefully” underpaid (which are most) teachers mainly seem to do this in their free time.
Some teachers are doing Historical Blogging, it draws in their students and is entertaining also. (The Orwell Prize)
