WordCamps, WordCamps Everywhere this 2008

I’ve been terrible at posting here, even with some great events that happened and are happening in the WordCamp World.
For example WordCamp Dallas just happened last month to a rousing success with lots of familiar and many new faces coming together in Frisco, Texas to show us Bay Area types what a WordCamp should be like, and of course Matt deciding to time a WordPress release too it..
Also there has been a ground-swell of support to get a UK WordCamp going… and they have gotten the site and a wiki up to pull things together. So if you’re interested and are planning on going, you should head on over and let them know so they have an idea on space and how many. Plus I’m sure they would love all the support and sponsors they could get.
The reason I actually got woken up from my wine enforced stupor was a post on the WordPress Blog with some information about an interesting conference that is occuring in a few cities here in the US, and at the end Matt noted…
We’ll also have some final dates for WordCamp San Francisco coming up, I’ll be posting those soonish so people can start making vacation and travel plans. (Nothing like a blogging vacation.)

So… I’m sure I won’t be able to make a UK WordCamp (wasn’t able to make Dallas because of a Maui trip this next month) So I hope to see all those coming to SF… and perhaps another WordCamp that can work into the schedule.

Tickets for WordCamp UK 2008 are now available.
